What is the Pilot?
The Pilot is the world’s first translation earpiece. When both people each wear a Pilot earpiece, the smartphone app will use a combination of speech recognition, machine translation and voice synthesis to take someone’s speech and translate to the other person. Everyone in the conversation must wear a Pilot earpiece to translate with each other.

2. Will it translate everything around me?
NO. This first generation does not translate everything happening around you. It only translates with people who also have the Pilot earpiece. Future generations will be developed to translate everything around you.
3. What if the other person doesn’t have an earpiece?
If someone does not have an earpiece, they can use the smartphone app which is included. Also, the app can be used as a loudspeaker for conferences.
4. How fast is it?
Currently the translation only takes a couple of seconds of delay, but we are working very hard to get this lag shorter and we will release updates to the app with every improvement.
5. Is the translation perfect?
No, machine translation is not perfect and it will make mistakes sometimes, but the more people use it the better the translation engine becomes.
6. Can it be used offline?
We are developing an offline version so that you can use it while traveling overseas without a data connection.
When Can I Order?
The Pilot will be available for pre-order on Indiegogo next week. We will announce the official launch date via email. If you have already signed up, you do not need to do anything else. Retail is expected to be $249-$299
2. How much is the EARLY BIRD?
Early bird will be first come first serve. A limited quantity will go for $129, then another round for $149, and then a few more Late Early Bird options for $179+.
3. What’s included?
The full package includes the Pilot and secondary earpiece (2 earpieces total), 1 portable charger, and an accompanying app. The app is where the languages are downloaded for the earpiece.
4. When will the app be delivered?
An early version of the translation app is expected this summer for basic translation. This is included in your pre-order. It will be the first version and will be updated to be more accurate and better with each version.
5. When will the earpieces be delivered?
The earpieces require much more testing, manufacturing and production time. Therefore, we anticipate the earliest will be Christmas, although fulfilling orders could take until next spring.
6. What languages will be supported?
We are first introducing latin/romance languages this summer (English, Spanish, French, Italian, etc), however additional languages will be available very soon after, including East Asian, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Slovik, African, etc
7. Are additional languages free?
No. Additional language packs will be available for a premium fee, HOWEVER all early adopters who order during our launch campaign on May 24th – 25th will always receive these new language packs FREE.
8. Will it translate for my dialect?
Every language has various dialects and the earpiece is designed to translate common dialects, although thick accents could disrupt this and cause improper translations.
Beta Testers
We will invite a select group of the early bird supporters to become beta testers. More information will be released soon.
Investment
We are a private tech company and not currently taking investment at this time. We will update our website with investor relations information at the appropriate time.
