What is the difference between Ambassador and Forum?
Ambassador Interpreter is our award winning flagship product. It’s an earbud designed for one-to-one conversations.
Forum app is our newest solution, and does not require the Ambassador headphones. It’s perfect for large groups or remote sessions, when teachers don’t have the bandwidth for individual learning.
How many languages are supported?
Our solutions support 20 languages, including English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Russian, Arabic, Greek, Hindi, Polish, Turkish, Chinese Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Dutch, Vietnamese, Thai, and Hebrew.
Do your products use human interpreters?
No! Our solutions are engineered using state of the art AI neural networks for automatic machine translation. It can even be customized for your school’s needs (contact support for more information).
Does it require an internet connection? Can we use it with laptops?
Forum is an app you download on your smartphone or tablet for remote sessions. It is also available for computers via our browser platform.Ambassador earbuds must be paired with your smartphone or tablet using bluetooth, and requires the companion app to be downloaded. It doesn’t work remotely (it requires face-to-face interactions).Both Ambassador and Forum require an internet connection (WIFI, 4G, 3G, LTE, etc).
