Ambassador September Update - Engineering Boards and Mechanical Assembly Testing

Hi everyone,

Last month we began the mobile app development, which included defining the user journey through the app, navigation, feature usage, design renders, and other elements of the user experience. We appreciate everyone that expressed interest in wanting to participate in the app beta testing, and we’re nearly ready to send out invitations to test the mockups before we release it, so keep you eyes peeled for an email to join the testing in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, this month we received our assembled circuit boards! This is more or less one of the final stages of component selection to ensure that all of the electrical and mechanical components function together. This period overlaps with firmware development while we continue to improve the compression, signal processing, audio quality, and all of the other aspects of the hardware architecture. From here we ship the units to New York so we can begin testing these units with select users.

Next month we’re going to have a lot of updates as we get closer to full production. Thanks for being patient everyone and following the journey!

As always, if you have any questions then please reach out to our support team and we’ll be sure to reply quickly.

Thanks!
